Swastika Found Carved Into Glass At Darien Train Station, Suspect At Large: Police

Police are investigating an apparent hate crime after an unknown suspect left a swastika in a Connecticut train station.

The symbol was discovered in Fairfield County on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at approximately 12:10 p.m., according to Darien Police.

It was carved into a glass window in a bathroom stall of the Darien Train Station, located at 33 West Avenue.

Police said they did not know how long the swastika had been there, and no details about the vandal were released.

Darien Public Works was notified so that the vandalism could be taken care of.
